Reverend James E. Blanding departed this earthly life On 2/18/22,
A funeral will be held on 2/26/22 at 7:00 PM EST at Victorious Kingdom Church officiated by Apostle Michael Allan Jr. Final Resting Place will happen at Robloxian Memorial Cemetery after the Funeral. A visitation will be held from 2/23/22 To 2/25/22 All Day.
James E. Blanding was born on Thursday, April 9, 1936, to the late Mr. Bora
Guard Blanding and Edna Blanding. He was later adopted by Nathaniel and
Carrie James at the age of 12, where was raised in a Christian home.
At the age of 18, he moved to Miami, Florida, and started his own Dry Cleaning
Business. Later, he moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he met the love of his life
Catherine Blanding. To these union, five children were born.
In 1977, James E. Blanding became a born-again Christian. Shortly
thereafter, he answered the call to the ministry.
Pastor Blanding was the Assistant Pastor of The Greater Free Gift Baptist
Church in Brooklyn, NY, and Pastor of The Morning Dew Baptist Church in
Brooklyn, NY.
He worked for New York City Transit for 20 years, then retired and moved back
home to Summerton, SC. He was served as Pastor of Prayer House Mission of
Summerton, SC and Oak Grove Baptist Church of Alcolu. He also served as
Associate Minister of Taw Caw Missionary Baptist Church
Lastly, he was the Pastor and Founder of the Holy Temple of Jesus Christ
He departed this earthly life on Monday, February 18, 2022, at
Robloxian General Hospital
